Comfort Hot Tubs is an online-only brand so seeing your hot tub beforehand in most cases is not possible. With that said, we do have the Comfort Display Program where customers voluntarily have the opportunity to show new prospective customers their hot tub in exchange for a small fee that we cover. If you would like to join the program or are curious if someone in the area will show you their hot tub, please do not hesitate to reach out and we will make an appointment for you (assuming someone in your area has volunteered to be part of the program).

The warranty program for Comfort Hot Tubs is 1 year including parts and labor. If for some reason you encounter a warranty related issue, please call our support line and we will be ready to resolve your issue as soon as possible. After the first year, you will continue to have lifetime access to our customer support line, as well as access to purchase our hot tub parts (if needed). We understand the limited scope of the warranty program; this does not mean that we do not believe in our product. Our mission is to get you a great hot tub at a fraction of the cost of what you may find from local your local hot tub dealer, and as such we have limited our warranty program to be able to get you the best deal possible on your hot tub.

We have partnered with 5 national freight carriers to ship our hot tubs. Depending on your location, the hot tub will be shipped with one of these carriers.

The hot tub is highly protected during transit. Our spas are shipped across the country so we have invested heavily into the packaging so that is well protected. The hot tub will arrive in a wooden crate that is palletized.

The shipping company will give you a call to make a delivery appointment with you once the hot tub has arrived at your nearest shipping terminal. On the delivery day, they will give you a call when they are on their way with the hot tub.

When the freight company arrives, they will take the hot tub out of the truck using a liftgate and a pallet jack. They will then bring the hot tub “curbside”. Each freight carrier has a different definition of what they mean by curbside – from a liability perspective they unfortuntately are not able to place it in your backyard where you want it. We understand that this is a downside to purchasing online – please reach out to us if you need guidance or support with getting the hot tub in place.

We intentionally have used standardized parts (e.g. balboa control system) so that our hot tubs can be operated on by any local service technician. If your hot tub is under warranty, please reach out to us and we will guide you through the process of finding a qualified technician to operate on the spa. If you would like to coordinate a repair by yourself, a technician can be easily found by conducting a google search for “Spa Repairs”. We recommend hiring someone with at least 3+ years of experience.

No, Comfort Hot Tubs spas can not be converted to salt water spas. Attempting to convert the spa will void all warranty.

Fun fact: Salt water spas still use chlorine! Salt water spas use chlorine generators as disinfectant. The generators pass electricity through sodium chloride and this process produces chlorine which is then sent through the spa to clean it.

The hot tub arrives fully assembled in a wooden crate. The hot tub weighs roughly 900lbs in the crate and 800lbs when removed from the crate. The freight company will leave the hot tub curbside. Due to the bulkiness and investment that you have made into this hot tub, we recommend hiring a local mover that specializes with hot tubs to place it in its final destination. They will have the equipment and experience to ensure your hot tub is handled properly. Inform the mover that you received a hot tub curbside, and that you will want it placed in your backyard. To receive a quote, they will ask you for the size of the spa as well as the path of delivery (e.g. distance, stairs, hills, sharp corners, narrow passageways, etc.). You will need at least 35” of width clearance and 84” of height clearance at all points along the delivery path for the hot tub to be delivered. If you do not have this clearance, then a hot tub mover may need to hire a crane technician to help with the project.

Shipping times will vary depending upon where you live in the contiguous US and most often range between 3-10 days for arrival. The hot tubs are shipped 1-2 business days after you place your order and 95% of shipments are received within 10 calendar days of placing your order.

We understand that your satisfaction is paramount, and we want you to be completely happy with your hot tub purchase. Therefore, we offer a 30-day return policy from the date of delivery. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your hot tub, you may return it within this period. To be eligible for a return, the hot tub must be in its original condition, with all accessories and packaging included (e.g. in its original shipping crate). The customer is responsible for any return shipping costs. Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will process your refund promptly, minus any applicable fees.
